from technical specification to finished product: reverse engineering, technology development and fabrication of micro- and nanostructures

Educational track «Hybrid Materials»
Master’s program «Современные квантовые и нанофотонные
системы / Advanced Quantum and Nanophotonic Systems».
The track focuses on interdisciplinary research, so we welcome
students with different backgrounds (physicists, chemists, materials
scientists, biologists) who want to work at the intersection of sciences.
On this track you will learn the basics of numerical modeling,
materials science, experimental nanophotonics, as well as special
topics in organic chemistry and cell biology.

Iuliia Melchakova and Elena Petrova took part in «Yenisey Photonics — 2026», presenting research on nanoparticles and promising optical materials.

Elena Kopoleva, Elena Petrova, Maria Timofeeva and Pavel Filatov won grants in a competition for undergraduate and postgraduate students at St. Petersburg universities.

Iriney Vasilev will study optical methods for measuring temperature at the nanoscale using upconversion nanoparticles in biological media.
