Our alumna Yali Sun is moving to a new position at Huazhong University of Science and Technology! Yali is leaving our team to become a professor at a leading Chinese university, Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST, China)!
Yali joined our team in 2015 and became one of its first members. Over the years of working together, she made a significant contribution to the center’s research, publishing more than 25 papers in leading international journals (Light: Science and Applications, Advanced Materials, ACS Photonics and others), successfully led and completed a Russian Science Foundation project, and has been a research mentor and friend to many students and PhD students in the group. Her research area, the optical properties and applications of hybrid metal–dielectric nanosystems, remains an important part of our team’s work. We greatly value Yali’s contribution to our group and wish her new achievements, inspiration and success in her career! And of course, we will continue to collaborate with Yali, now as the head of a research group at HUST.
