On May 18–22, Saint Petersburg hosted the All-Russian Conference on Luminescence LUMOS-2026. This key interdisciplinary event brought together leading scientists, researchers and engineers to discuss fundamental and applied problems of luminescence, optical phenomena and spectroscopy. The conference aims to create an open platform for dialogue between physics, chemistry, biology and medicine and to continue the traditions of the Russian scientific school.
Pavel Filatov, a researcher at our center, represented the organization with distinction at this prestigious forum. In his session he gave a talk titled «Development of chemiluminescent DNA structures with peroxidase activity for selective detection of Staphylococcus aureus».
«I really liked LUMOS-2026 for its interdisciplinary spirit. The talk on our lab’s work drew interest from specialists in different fields and cities. Talking with colleagues, we outlined three potential collaborations. One of them, with researchers from MIPT, is already moving forward», Pavel Filatov shared.
Taking part in conferences of this level lets our center not only share its breakthrough results but also find new partners for joint interdisciplinary projects. Congratulations to Pavel on a successful talk, and good luck with the new collaborations!
