Danni Zhao, a member of our team, took part in the CIOP 2025 conference in China. CIOP is an annual English-language optics conference held in China every summer and designed for 1,000 participants. It presents itself as «comprehensive, international and integrating industry, education and research». Its topics cover the fundamentals of optics, materials, devices and system applications, and it offers a platform for researchers, engineers and business representatives to interact.
This year the conference took place in Xi’an on August 10–14. Our colleague Danni Zhao presented a poster titled «Study of the optical properties of dielectric nanostructures printed on heterogeneous substrates». Taking part in the conference let her see the full scale of knowledge in the field. Leading specialists from different areas shared their projects, which sparked her interest in nano-optics even more.
Our researchers’ participation in international conferences is not only a chance to make themselves known but also an important contribution to the development of the whole center. We thank Danni for representing the team so well at CIOP 2025.
