About the product
UiO-66 is a crystalline metal–organic framework of hexanuclear zirconium clusters linked by terephthalic acid linkers, with a face-centered cubic structure. Its main advantage over many other frameworks is its exceptional thermal and chemical stability.
It is used in heterogeneous catalysis and photocatalysis, in adsorptive gas separation including CO₂ capture and hydrogen storage, in chemical sensors and in drug delivery systems. Doping and post-synthetic modification introduce the functional groups needed for a specific task.
