About the product
HKUST-1, also known as MOF-199, Cu-BTC or Basolite C300, is a crystalline metal–organic framework of copper ion clusters linked by 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylic acid linkers. Its high specific surface area and microporous structure make it suitable for selective adsorption of carbon dioxide, hydrogen and other gases, for heterogeneous catalysis, and for membrane and chromatographic separation.
We supply HKUST-1 with a controlled crystal size, from nanoscale to microscale fractions. On request we modify the surface, including with amino groups for gas selectivity, and incorporate the material into composite structures. Handling requires safety precautions: the substance is toxic and an irritant.
