Pavel Filatov has become head of the ITMO Collab program for the 2026/2027 season. ITMO Collab is a competition of interdisciplinary projects for ITMO bachelor’s, master’s and PhD students, where ideas at the intersection of disciplines turn into real projects. It especially values solutions that require more than one field of knowledge. The best teams will receive up to 1,000,000 rubles to bring their ideas to life.
«ITMO Collab is a unique competition aimed at forming new interdisciplinary research teams of the university’s students and PhD students. Every year it gives rise to strong long-term collaborations across different fields of science, and I am sure this season will be no exception. I believe that this year we will see projects that can change how we think about familiar technologies and lay the foundation for the university’s further development», said Pavel Filatov.
Congratulations to Pavel on his appointment, and have a productive season!
